Replace Calendly, Topmate, and Stan Store with Julip's built-in booking feature.

We are super excited about this feature as it replaces Calendly, Topmate, Stan Store etc. You can have as many calendar links and even charge people for calls. No extra charge from Julip!

PLEASE NOTE: You must have a GMAIL account. This can be a free gmail account like [yourname]@gmail.com or [name]@[youbusinessname].com. It just must be from the Google Email universe as it syncs ONLY with Google Meet at this time.

Here's how to do it:

Connect your Email

  1. Go to Pages
  2. Go to the Services tab
  3. Scroll to the bottom and you'll see the header 'Book a Call'
  4. Here you'll have the option to update the title of this section on your Julip (Where it says Title, click the pencil icon to edit)
  5. Then click 'Connect'.
  6. Then Google will automatically take you through the steps to connect to the Google calendar you want Julip to sync up with. You can only sync ONE account, so be sure to select the account that you use most when using google calendar. This takes under 60 seconds.

Create your First Calendar Link

Once the above is completed, you'll be directed to the steps to create a calendar booking.

REMEMBER: If you want to be paid for your time, you must have connected your Stripe account (you can do this in the settings tab on the left) AND you must include a price because if Stripe doesn't have a number to charge how will it be able to charge the customer?

The first part is what your customer will see:

  • Title
  • Short description (thumbnail)
  • Detailed description - Here you can dive deep on what they'll get on your call
  • You can add a cover photo but totally optional
  • Price - you'll want to decide if you want to charge. If you want the call to be free, keep this toggled off. If you DO want to charge, turn this on and add your pricing. You can also add a 'discount'.
  • Next is the header where your client adds their details. You can leave this as is or change it up.
  • Finally the CTA button. You can keep it as is or change it to 'Let's Chat', 'Secure your Spot', etc.

Setting your calendar availability.

  • It automatically defaults to Google meet. If you want to change this, you can update it in the calendar invite that gets sent out to your client.
  • The timezone is default to YOUR time zone and will adjust accordingly depending on where they live. So no conversion is necessary.
  • Next decide how long do you want the call to be (i.e. 30 mins, 1 hour, etc)
  • How many people can join
  • Booking window:
    • Minimum advance notice: How far in advance can someone book a call with you? 30 minutes from now? A day from now?
    • Maximum advance notice: How far in advance can someone book a call with you? A day? A month? 6 months?
  • Breaks between meetings - Sometimes you'll want to have a bathroom break, get a glass of water. This is to set buffers in between calls. We do recommend at least 15-30 minutes.
  • Set up your availability - This will automatically sync with the calendar of the GMAIL account you connected with. Just turn on the day and add the times you'd like to say you're available and you can do multiple slots within each day.
  • Lastly, you can block days or weeks off. For example, if you want the week of Christmas to be blocked. Add the dates and click +Add

Confirmation email - Here we've created an email ready to go, but feel free to update. In addition, they'll get an email from Google with a google invite to accept.

Final Review - Here you'll get a preview of what the thumbnail will look like before you go live.
